Contact and purposes

Use the general enquiry form to contact the operator about your information. We collect your name, email, enquiry type, selected service or role, organisation, site location, requested cover hours and timescale, optional telephone number, message, submission time and reference. We use these to assess and respond to enquiries and maintain correspondence. Our basis is legitimate interests in managing business and career enquiries, or steps at your request before a contract where applicable.

Reviews and references

Review submissions also include a public display name, relationship, optional service rating, review text and permission to publish. Publication relies on your consent, which you can withdraw through the enquiry form. Contact emails remain private. Only approved public review fields appear on the website. Professional and personal references are labelled separately from client reviews.

Storage, access and retention

Submissions are stored in the website’s hosted database and accessed by the authorised operator. Hosting and database providers process information to run the website. Forms do not send automatic emails or add people to a marketing list. We retain information only while needed to handle the enquiry, maintain an ongoing relationship or meet applicable record-keeping obligations; publication continues only while the review remains relevant and consent is in place. Retention is reviewed manually.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request restriction. Portability may apply to qualifying processing. Use the same email address where possible so we can verify the request. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Officer network and shift bookings

If you join our officer network, we collect your name, email, mobile number, home town and postcode district, areas you can cover, preferred site types, availability, travel arrangements, relevant experience, SIA licence types, numbers and expiry dates, and the time you agreed to join. We use your consent to retain your network registration and contact you about suitable opportunities. You can withdraw by emailing enquiries@steadwatchsecurity.co.uk. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful use.

Authorised staff review these self-reported details and record eligibility-check dates, evidence references, work restrictions and review deadlines. Registration is not a completed licence or right-to-work check. Where we progress an engagement, checks and assignment administration may also be necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, perform a contract or meet legal obligations. Documents required for formal checks are collected separately, not through this public registration form.

Personal shift invitations, bookings and officer-reported arrival and finish times are stored privately. Invitation links are access credentials: keep yours private. Your name and work contact information may be shared with the relevant client or site contact when needed to arrange an accepted assignment. Other registered officers cannot browse your record. We do not use the registration form to collect National Insurance numbers, bank details, passport copies or health information.

Inactive network registrations are reviewed after 12 months and removed when no longer needed; reviews and removal are manual. Where you have worked with us, some engagement, payment or verification records may need to be retained for applicable legal or contractual periods. Ask the business email above to access, correct or delete your details or withdraw from future opportunities. The current website does not automatically send email notifications; invitations are sent separately by the operator.

Cookies and sensitive information

This website does not add advertising analytics or marketing cookies. Owner sign-in uses essential authentication features. Please do not submit identity documents, licence numbers, medical information or other sensitive personal details through these forms.
